[There is an angry red eye in the screen, before it backs up to reveal an irritated albino.]

[No way his hallucination could last this long, and he’ll be damned if he’ll let Japan get away with it.]

[He jabs his finger at the screen.]

I know everyone wants me and my greatness, but kidnapping is illegal under international law! I demand compensation, and you better return me now or-

[There is suddenly a blur of colors, accompanied by a stream of loud German and English curses as Prussia trips over a row of bushes. Someone wasn’t watching where he was going while angrily yelling at the PokéGear.]

Uh – ahaha…ha…FUCK.

[There’s a thud and a view of the sky as Prussia drops his PokéGear and backpack in favor of running from a flock of extremely angry Spearow, hell bent on punishing him for ruining their nests.]

[Sob...he's still frozen in horror. Prussia deserves a Pokemon that exudes awesome and induces fear in all (but him of course). He just stares as Pidgey hops up to Cooper curiously.]

[Cooper squats down to hold out a hand towards the bird, his smile growing as the Pidgey draws closer. He always loved wildlife. This is, in his book, really awesome. No matter if Prussia agrees or not.]

Hey, little fellow. [Then, directed at Prussia, though he's not looking at him] Seems like a good partner.

[Pidgey gently pokes at Cooper's hand, wondering if there is any food. When she doesn't find any, she looks up at him accusingly, wondering why he would trick her.]

HAHAHA Of course I would get a good partner! [Cooper's voice snaps him out of his daze. He uses bravado to attempt to cover his surprise.]

[Cooper gives the little bird a small smile, making to stroke it over the back slightly with a few fingers. ~~Baaw animals.~~]

Good to hear. You seemed to be quite mispleased there, for a moment. [Cooper does not buy that coverup.]

[Oh. Well. Petting is acceptable. Pidgey croons and scoots closer to Cooper.]

[Pidgey just harrumphs at Prussia.]

[He strokes the bird over the feathers in quite an excited way. A real life bird!... well almost. And he gets to pet it. Life is great.

...yes. He looks at Prussia with raised eyebrows.]

I can hear you perfectly fine.

[Pidgey likes this human already. She settles down comfortably.] Pi pi!

[Prussia is staring right back, kind of sulking. He's her owner, dammit!]

Oi, Gilbird. [He's found some treats in his bag, and is now offering them to her.]

[Cooper politely withdraws a little from the bird and stands up, to realize his own starter has sort of joined him. He looks at the Hoothoot with a small smile, still regarding the other man from the corner of his eye.]

Would that be her name? Gilbird?

[Gilbird hops over to him, happily taking the food. He's pleased that he and his Pokemon seem to be getting along.]

Yeah.

[He jumps when he sees the Hoothoot and points at it.]

I wouldn't want to say that I own him, but yes, this would be my partner. Holmes.

[Holmes isn't very awake, it being daytime and all, but makes a sort of vague hoot-sound. Cooper likes him anyway.]

[Holmes is strange looking...but oddly cute. Prussia holds out a few treats to him.]

Never seen that one before. Did he follow you?

[Holmes looks uninterested at first, but then slowly takes them and eats them rather happily.]

Yes, well. He was in the pokéball I recieved upon my arrival here. I take it he knows he's supposed to follow me.

[He smiles triumphantly and slowly reaches out to pet him.]

Weird. Why the hell would kidnappers give us Pokemon?

[Holmes allows it but isn't very responsive. Daytime, and all.]

Perhaps 'kidnapping' is the wrong term, in a sense. The goal of this event might be to evaluate our responses to a foreign world, and watch our adaption to it? In any case, there might not be a manevolent motive behind it, even if I agree that we've been brought here against our will.

[He stops after a moment and turns toward Cooper. Gilbird hops around Holmes chattering at him.]

[He frowns angrily.] So we're here for some bastard's entertainment?

[Holmes makes more half-awake hoot-sounds in response to the other bird. Cooper, instead, makes a gesture that wills Prussia to remain calm.]

It's just an idea. I could be completely wrong. I don't have anything substansial to base it on, so the possibility that I am wrong is, in fact, very high.

[Gilbird eventually gives up and returns to the humans.] Pidgey?

[He mutters angrily.] It makes the most sense out of what everyone has said so far.

[Snorts derisively.] England thinks this is his dream, and France says this is hell.

[Oh so we have France and England around as well? How extraordinary.]

France and England? How many other countries have been brought here?

[He furrows his brows as he contemplates who he's talked to.]

Hong Kong, China, and Netherlands. America, Canada, and South Italy are here too, but they're too young--Netherlands said there's a weird time thing going on--but that's not possible!

[He ends frustrated. This new world and time thing wasn't logical and pissed him off.]

I take it you're referring to the different timelines that seem to be apparent here? I have met a person who says he's from 1964, and of course Canada from the 18th century, but otherwise I can't say I've encountered it. [Brief pause] What year are you from?

[He almost sounds like he purposely traveled to the past except it wasn't possible. In Prussia's mind, those from the future had the advantage, and it automatically made him better.]

I don't expect there's been anything revolutionary in those 21 years?

[He blinks. God, where did he start? He almost answers, but then he remembers all those time traveling stories where messing with time royally fucked things over.]

Don't wanna mess with space time continuum. Let's just say there's a lot to look forward to~ [And a lot of terrible things as well, but if he said that, he wouldn't be quite as superior now, would he?]
