Diary of the Awesome Me 002 || Video || Route 32

[The feed turns on via Gilbird, who is bored and hungry as she pecks at Prussia’s things. It shows the albino sitting on a pier with a homemade fishing rod. Sushi in the episodes had to come from somewhere, right?]

Ah hell, bite dammit!

[After a minute, there’s a tug. Prussia is now getting really excited as he reels it in. Gilbird hops over, ready for battle.]

AHAHA YES! IT BETTER BE A BIG ONE---

[He stares in horror as a Magikarp flops uselessly on the pier.]

…Fuck.

[Sob, what is his life. He pokes it despondently.]

I dub thee Lisbeth, like another certain failure.

[EDIT][ooc: Prussia hasn't played the games in over a decade, so he's forgotten what Magikarp evolve into. Don't remind him, it'll be a nice surprise later~]

["Hoot." The owl on his head hoots with a headtilt.]

It can't attack... So it's a kind that doesn't fight, then! I like the sound of that.

[...Congratulations. I'm not sure how you did it, but I think you just got him interested in catching one of these for himself eventually.]

[Oh, there are a lot of things wrong with him. But most of them are irrelevant to the conversation at hand, so.]

It's a good thing, I think. There's at least one type that isn't built for pointless fighting, but it still survives.

Then what is the point? Seems to me that it only ever leaves people hurt or dead.

Makes enough sense to me ^^

[Oh, he hasn't been only referring to Pokémon up until this point himself, so.]

But in the end, other than suffering and death, what comes out of them? I don't see what matters about who owns what land and stuff like that.

That's fine ^^

[...Ah, he catches your emphasis. And finds it ironic, but.]

Actually, ah, I've met too many humans for my liking who see some point to it that I don't.

:)

I could ask you the same question.

[identity profile] alpha_stigma.livejournal.com 2010-11-10 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
A nation, huh? As in, a country? I didn't know they could take a person-like form.

[Watch him pretend he didn't hear the question.]

[identity profile] alpha_stigma.livejournal.com 2010-11-11 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Ah... it's not really something I like talking about specifically, but uh, I guess you could say that I'm cursed.

Welcome back! ^^

['Lowly'. Heh, well, that's a nice way to put it, he thinks.

Anyway, time to change the subject, quick before he changes his mind and tries to fish for details! Let's see... the original topic was about that fish, so...]

So, uh... have you fished up any other types, or was that the first?

[identity profile] alpha_stigma.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Haa... well, then maybe there isn't anything that could eat it around, so it doesn't need to fight? [As he tries (and probably fails) to make the argument that the fish's existence isn't pointless, at least.

And of course, at the time of this thread he hasn't made it to Cherrygrove yet and thus doesn't know that they do in fact sell meat products, so he's just assuming everyone's expected to be vegetarian or something.]

It's seriously not a problem. ^^

Well it's gotta survive somehow...
